| Once over the bridge, to the left there is a large area of tall beach grass. We are not horticulturalists so we don’t know the type, but it dominates the area at the back of the beach. Two photographic conditions made this photograph appealing: a dramatic sky and the light coming from behind. Take away one or the other would reduce the impact of this image substantially. A strong wind was blowing during this shot. An f/11 aperture at 1/100s was used to blur slightly the grass to give a sense of motion. |
